TE Capital Partners, acting on behalf of its TE Japan Income Partners Series, made its first foray into multifamily sector in Japan, acquiring a portfolio of prime multifamily residential assets for USD$ 60 million in Central Tokyo.
Featuring a diverse mix of studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units, all assets are located on average within 7 minutes on foot from a train station, with portfolio occupancy standing at around 95% as of December 2022. This acquisition follows TE Capital Partners’ first foray into Japan multifamily sector in December 2020, validating TE Capital Partners’ confidence in the resilience and stability of Japan multifamily market.
